To find out where to begin we had to think about what we already thought.
We have started our topic by looking at food. We had a go sorting food into different groups:
We then looked at how foods were sorted in a food pyramid. We asked the question "Why a pyramid and not a rectangle?" Can you work it out?
Below are some of our own food pyramids. This week we have been thinking about our teeth. Colgate have provided us with
some cool stuff for the classroom. If you want to check out some toothy games
click on the Colgate link.
Here's a puzzle for you to try at home. Can you work out what the phrase is? If you right click
on the puzzle and go to 'Save Image As' you can save it and print it off to do.
We all made presentations on Power Point to explain what happens to our teeth when we eat sugary treats. We went in pairs to different classes so we share our work with other children and hopefully show them why it is so important to brush our teeth a lot. Go to our 'my stuff' pages to see our work.
